Key Responsibilities:

• Transportation:

  • Safely transport passengers or goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Plan routes and follow schedules to meet delivery or pick-up deadlines.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and unloading, and handle goods carefully to avoid damage.

• Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., oil, tires, brakes).
  • Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the appropriate personnel.

• Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ensure passengers use seat belts and that goods are securely loaded.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Customer Service:

  • Provide a high level of customer service, addressing passengers’ or clients’ needs and concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, passengers, and dispatchers.
  • Handle any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery receipts, trip logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience:

  • Previous driving experience is preferred.
  • Experience with specific types of vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans, buses) may be required depending on the role.
