The Site Engineer will manage and oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and clients, to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:
- Develop project plans and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and report on performance.
- Ensure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Site Supervision:
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with site foremen and laborers to maintain workflow.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving on-site.
- Interpret and implement design plans and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys and assess project feasibility.

Quality Control:
- Perform quality control checks and inspections.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
- Manage and resolve any issues or defects that arise during construction.

Liaison and Communication:
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on project status and progress.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities and progress.
- Prepare and submit required documentation and reports.
- Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and properly archived.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role.
- Experience in managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
