We are looking for a skilled and experienced website developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of web development principles, proficiency in programming languages, and a passion for building high-quality websites. As a website developer, you will collaborate with our design and project management teams to create innovative and functional web solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop websites with clean, efficient code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance website functionality.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, browser compatibility issues, and usability problems.
- Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development.
- Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and end-users.
- Document code and maintain version control using Git or similar tools.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a website developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end web development languages and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React, Angular, Node.js).
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of web hosting environments and server configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Portfolio showcasing previous website development projects.
