- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by conducting regular data validation and quality checks.
- Identify data discrepancies, anomalies, or errors and take corrective actions to resolve issues and improve data accuracy.
- Automate routine data collection, reporting, and analysis processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and marketing, to gather data requirements and understand business needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of MIS tools and systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in MIS and data analytics to continuously improve processes and capabilities.
- Assist in ad-hoc data analysis, special projects, and report generation as required by management.
- Prepare and present regular reports, performance dashboards, and trend analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop forecasting models and predictive analytics to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for MIS systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in data analytics or MIS may be preferred.
- Proven experience in MIS, data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL query writing.
- Familiarity with data modeling, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies in MIS and data analytics.
- Understanding of business processes, financial principles, and industry trends.
- Experience in process improvement, automation, or project management is a plus.
