The Website Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet client requirements and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, proficiency in web design tools and technologies, and the ability to translate client needs into compelling website designs.
Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:
- Design and develop custom websites, landing pages, and web applications from concept to completion, incorporating user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize website layouts, navigation structures, and interactive features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to implement website designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

Graphic Design and Visual Elements:
- Create visual elements, graphics, icons, and images for websites using graphic design software and tools.
- Select and edit images, photographs, and multimedia content to enhance website aesthetics and appeal.

Content Management and Integration:
- Collaborate with content creators, copywriters, and marketing teams to integrate textual content, multimedia assets, and branding elements into website designs.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of website content, messaging, and branding with client requirements and design specifications.

Website Maintenance and Optimization:
- Perform ongoing website maintenance, updates, and enhancements to improve performance, usability, and security.
- Conduct website audits, usability tests, and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.

Client Communication and Collaboration:
- Consult with clients to understand their website requirements, objectives, and design preferences, and provide recommendations and solutions to meet their needs.
- Present design concepts, proposals, and prototypes to clients, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions and adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent work experience or certifications may be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience in website design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and designs.
- Proficiency in web design software and tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or Figma.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal, and website hosting platforms.
- Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
