The teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing educational programs to meet the academic and developmental needs of students. They will create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment, encourage curiosity, and instill a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Use diverse teaching methods and tools to accommodate different learning styles.

Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order.

Student Assessment:
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed academic records.

Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum content.
- Adapt materials and teaching strategies to meet students’ unique needs.

Parent and Guardian Communication:
- Regularly update parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication.

Professional Development:
- Stay updated with advancements in teaching techniques and subject knowledge.
- Attend workshops, training sessions, and professional development programs.

Student Support:
- Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs.
- Encourage and mentor students in academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities.
- Assist in school events, extracurricular programs, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a related field.
- Master’s degree or specialization in a subject area is a plus.

Certification:
- Teaching license or certification as required by local authorities.

Experience:
- Prior teaching experience is often preferred but not always mandatory.
