- Provide first aid, CPR, or other assistance as needed until emergency responders arrive on the scene.
- Implement emergency procedures, evacuation plans, and crisis management protocols to protect lives and property.
4. Incident Reporting and Documentation:
- Document security incidents, observations, and activities in written reports or electronic logs.
- Report security breaches, suspicious behavior, or safety hazards to appropriate authorities or supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related incidents, investigations, and interventions for review and analysis.
5. Customer Service and Assistance:
- Provide assistance and information to visitors, employees, and customers regarding directions, policies, and services.
- Respond to inquiries, complaints, or requests for assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
- Serve as a visible deterrent to crime and misconduct while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
6. Security Equipment Operation:
- Operate security equipment and tools, such as metal detectors, X-ray machines, handheld wands, and communication devices.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of security equipment to ensure proper functioning and reliability.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues for repair or replacement as needed.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, and emergency responders to coordinate activities and share information.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders to relay instructions, updates, and incident reports.
- Work closely with onsite staff, contractors, and vendors to address security concerns and coordinate access as necessary.
