We are looking for a friendly and professional receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, and you will play a key role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and welcoming manner.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Respond to inquiries and provide information about the company, products, or services.
- Manage the reception area, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Keep track of staff whereabouts and communicate messages or requests to employees.
- Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures, including visitor sign-in and badge issuance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role is preferred.
