The Salesman is responsible for promoting and selling a company's products or services to potential and existing customers. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting: Identify potential customers through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Customer Engagement: Approach and engage with potential customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services to effectively present features and benefits to customers.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of products or services to potential clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sales agreements to meet both customer needs and company expectations.
- Closing Sales: Close sales deals and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Sales Reporting: Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions. Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales or a related customer-facing role.
- Skills:
