The Tally Operator is responsible for managing financial records, data entry, and accounting tasks using Tally ERP software. This role demands attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and proficiency in Tally for efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:

   • Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Tally ERP.
   • Ensure accuracy in accounting entries, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

2. GST and Tax Compliance:

   • Handle GST filing, TDS entries, and other statutory requirements.
   • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare reports as needed.

3. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Reconcile bank statements with company accounts regularly.
   • Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions.

4. Inventory Management:

   • Update and maintain stock records in Tally ERP.
   • Monitor inventory levels and prepare stock valuation reports.

5. Financial Reporting:

   • Generate financial statements such as profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
   • Prepare monthly and yearly financial summaries for management.

6. Data Management:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Tally.
   • Perform data backups to ensure the security of financial information.

7. Vendor and Client Coordination:

   • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
   • Follow up on outstanding payments and invoices.

8. Support to Accounts Team:

   • Assist in audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
   • Provide general support for financial decision-making processes.
