Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor computer systems, networks, and related infrastructure for performance and security.
- Ensure systems are running efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

- Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as backups, data restoration, and updates.
- Execute batch jobs and manage job schedules.
- Respond to system alerts and take appropriate action.

Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to users by addressing hardware and software issues.
- Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff.

Security Management:
- Implement and follow security protocols to protect systems from unauthorized access and threats.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Data Management:
- Manage data input and output, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Generate and distribute reports based on system data.

- Record and track incidents using an incident management system.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in computer science or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Computer Operator or similar role.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, UNIX).
- Knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in shifts or on-call as required.
Working Conditions:
