The Civil Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, such as roads, bridges, buildings, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Design:
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and engineering analyses to assess project requirements, constraints, and objectives.
- Develop project plans, specifications, and designs, including drawings, calculations, and technical documentation, using engineering software and tools.

Permitting and Regulatory Compliance:
- Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance for construction projects from local authorities, government agencies, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure projects comply with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental standards, and safety requirements.

Construction Management:
- Manage and oversee construction activities, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and delays.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts, and monitor expenses, resource allocation, and spending to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options, and efficiency improvements to optimize project costs and maximize return on investment.

Quality Assurance and Safety:
- Implement quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure construction materials, workmanship, and installations meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries on construction sites.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies, to communicate project objectives, progress, and requirements.
- Address stakeholder concerns, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit, and project management tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, materials, and codes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
