The Medicine Loader is responsible for the accurate and efficient loading of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies onto transportation vehicles. This role ensures that all products are handled with care and comply with regulatory standards for safety and quality. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of proper handling techniques for medical supplies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading Operations: Accurately load medicine and medical supplies onto trucks or other transportation vehicles according to the delivery schedule.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for any damage or discrepancies before loading, ensuring only quality items are dispatched.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe handling and transportation of pharmaceuticals.
- Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of loaded products, ensuring all inventory is correctly logged and updated in the system.
- Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team, drivers, and logistics coordinators to ensure timely and efficient loading operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain loading equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Packaging: Ensure all medicine and supplies are properly packaged and labeled before loading to prevent damage during transit.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain appropriate temperature conditions during loading to preserve the quality and efficacy of the pharmaceuticals.
- Regulatory Adherence: Comply with all relevant health and safety standards, as well as guidelines from regulatory bodies such as the FDA or EMA.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment, preferably with a focus on pharmaceuticals or medical supplies.
