As an ITI Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring the efficient operation of equipment to support production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and set up industrial equipment and machinery according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems of industrial machinery using hand and power tools.
- Perform calibration and alignment procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of equipment.
- Test machinery and equipment to verify proper functioning and performance after repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance data.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance staff to address complex issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and new equipment models to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a relevant ITI program in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Proven experience as a technician or mechanic in an industrial environment preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to industrial machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to respond to maintenance emergencies or production demands.
