4. Security Implementation:

- Conduct security audits and address vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure.
5. Network Design and Planning:
- Design and plan network layouts based on organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with other IT specialists to develop comprehensive network solutions.
6. Hardware Procurement:
- Assess hardware needs and recommend appropriate solutions for procurement.
- Source and evaluate hardware vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
7. Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, hardware inventory, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Develop and update network diagrams and documentation.
8. User Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and network-related issues.
- Offer training and guidance to users on network usage and best practices.
9. Network Monitoring:
- Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic to detect and prevent potential issues.
- Implement monitoring tools and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
10. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT teams, system administrators, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of hardware and network systems.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for project planning and execution.
11. Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for hardware and networking.
12. Disaster Recovery Planning:
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for network systems.
- Regularly test and update recovery procedures to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware components, and security measures.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
