Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

   • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
   • Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer recommendations.
   • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Sales and Promotion:

   • Promote and sell products to meet or exceed sales targets.
   • Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers.
   • Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer shopping experience.

3. Store Maintenance:

   • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
   • Arrange merchandise on shelves, racks, and displays according to store guidelines.
   • Ensure that products are properly stocked and that out-of-stock items are reported.

4. Transaction Handling:

   • Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
   • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions and provide change as needed.
   • Prepare and package purchases for customers.

5. Inventory Management:

   • Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment.
   • Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the store manager.
   • Assist with receiving and processing new merchandise shipments.

6. Sales Reporting:

   • Record and report daily sales figures and other relevant metrics.
   • Assist in tracking sales performance and identifying trends.

7. Product Knowledge:

   • Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies.
   • Continuously update knowledge of product lines to provide accurate information to customers.

8. Team Collaboration:

   • Work effectively with other sales staff and management to achieve store goals.
   • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
   • Support and assist colleagues during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional qualifications).
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
