We are seeking vigilant and reliable individuals to join our team as security guards. The ideal candidates should have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. As a security guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches, unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior or potential security threats.
- Conduct security checks of buildings, grounds, and property to ensure all doors, windows, and gates are secure.
- Enforce access control procedures, including verifying identification and issuing visitor badges or access cards.
- Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and alarms in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or violations of security policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and clients as needed.
- Escort individuals or groups to and from designated locations, especially during non-business hours or in high-risk areas.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and daily activity logs.
- Follow company policies and guidelines, as well as local, state, and federal regulations regarding security and safety.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security guard, law enforcement officer, or military personnel.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures, equipment, and techniques.
- Ability to operate security devices and systems, including CCTV cameras and two-way radios.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement is a plus.
- Valid security guard license or certification (if required by state or local regulations).
- Clean criminal record and background check.
