A Computer Operator ensures the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and related equipment. Key Responsibilities

System Monitoring and Operation:
- Monitor computer systems, servers, and networks for performance and potential issues.
- Operate and control mainframes, software applications, and IT infrastructure.
- Respond to error messages and system alerts promptly.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware or software malfunctions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to address system failures or performance issues.
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance tasks like updates and backups.

Data Management:
- Manage data input, processing, and output operations accurately.
- Maintain records of system logs and activities.
- Ensure data security and perform regular backups.

Support and Reporting:
- Provide support to end-users and address basic IT queries.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system performance metrics.
- Report major issues or risks to supervisors or IT managers.
